Hello every one,
I'm a relatively new member here. I have enjoyed and even participated in some discussions in posts here. But there is still much to this site I haven't seen so I spend a bit of time poking around. There is good information on this site and much of it should be required reading. One such piece of literature which I came across just today should be on that list. It is an essay by Jeffrey R. Snyder called "A Nation of Cowards". It is well thought out, informative and eloquent. It articulates very well many points we as gun owners and believers in self defense try to get across to people that "don't get it" but sometimes in our frustration can't adequately express. The article is located in the library section of the site somewhere down the right side column. Many of the senior members of the site may already be familiar with it so I apologize if this subject has been discussed before. For anyone who has not seen it yet you may find it very interesting. Perhaps it may help some of us better educate out-of-touch individuals we debate with in the future.
