Here's a pair of carry guns.
The 1911 on the left is a Springfield Lightweight Loaded with Novak night sights.
The 1911 on the right is a recently acquired unfired Kimber Series I Custom Classic.
I've been toting the Lightweight for a while now. This will be the "carry a lot, shoot in moderation" kind of piece. The Kimber Custom Classic will be the stand-in for heavy duty use, competition, and all the round mileage that I don't want to put on the Springfield's alloy frame.
Aren't they just purty together?
