Are SVD Dragunov rifles, Russian or Chinese, available in Canada?

No; they're considered "Kalashnikov variants", and prohibited up here (like every other design that can vaguely be considered related to an AK, EXCEPT for the Valmet Hunter; the Liberals exempted those because they'd given out plenty to the Natives, and they knew the response they'd get if they asked for them back). If you had one before the cut-off date, you can still keep it, but they won't issue you a permit to actually SHOOT it.
