Yes, but a lot of folks say Two-Two-Three instead of Two-Twenty-Three. Funny that I don’t hear that with .243.

Funny you should ask about that one in particular. I pronounce that one four-two-two-seven. For most all the other 4 digit powders I use the two two-digit number form - forty eight-ninety five, forty-sixty four, etc.

I think I favor 42-27 because of other IMR powders sound better that way “thirty thirty-one” and “forty sixty four“ and 76-25 but that’s a moot point now.

I love numbers... it's probably why I like IMR rifle powders as much as I do. I don't need clever names... except Unique...

four two two seven for me, but forty-eight ninety-five, forty sixty-four, and thirty thirty-one.

Five five six, but two twenty-three. Seven six two... and three oh eight.... because thirty eight (.30, 8) wouldn't be right!

This conversation reminds me of my old Army roommate... he always called 9mm 'nine mike mike' instead of 9 millimeter.
