A rare complete "kit" and questions how efficient is this ?

I have the High Standard Heavy Duty .22 , but this is the first time I have seen the complete, as issued WW2 till Vietnam kit. I wonder how quiet these were compared to baffles or monocore or wipe combos ? The tight rolled mesh around the ported barrel is interesting !

What’s the third piece down from the barrel? Almost looks like fiberglass wrapping to go over the mesh?

Never mind. Appears to be a spare mesh wrapping according to the instructions

Looks like cosmoline paper, so, that's likely the sheet metal tube cover for the suppressor stack.

Probably pretty quiet, with about the same ME as a 1 5/8” mini revolver.
