After reading the .380 stopping a bear thread and it is highly doubt able.... We have a lot of bears here and so far they will slowly leave if I open a window and yell at them.
They run faster after the Pitts start barking/growling.. Bears are kind of smart; my yelling and they waddle away; dogs barking and they move a lot faster.
The wife was really sick and was too stubborn to go to the doctor. Finally she gave in and I took her to the local form of Urgent Care. By the time we left it was after 9 PM.
We live in the Chattahoochee NF and it is very remote. On the way back home, a cougar ran across the road.
It crossed the road in two leaps, then ran up a 50° to 55° hill. I did a search and a cougar's charge can hit 40 to 50 MPH.
After seeing one hit high gear; it was a reality check; a very impressive reality check..
