A very simple carry gun

You shoot that really well, fast and accurate! I think you have a winner!

The LCP is now available in different models but this will do for me. It hides well & has enough firepower for the places I go. A downside though is the slide doesn't lock on the last round.

Thank you Milt. This was really my second time out with the little gun & the first outing with those loads. The trigger is excellent on these making them easy to hit with. Some don't like the DA only trigger but being an old sixgun shooter I think they are fine.

Here's a couple targets with factory loads on my first day out.

Although I'll never get one, I like them a lot and would have bough one instead of a PPK & PPK/S if they'ed been available 40 years ago.

For me, it’s the difference between wanting to carry and carrying. I love G26 but I came to realize the only way I can comfortably carry one the entire day is OWB, which is simply impractical for me. I chose LCP over LCP II because I wanted absolutely the smallest one (II seems just a tad larger) and it’s a carry bliss, I literally forget it’s in my front pocket and I don’t think about clothing at all.

I carry the LCPII. I admit it's not near as good looking a gun as the LCP, and it's a tad larger, but I grew up on ,1911's and Single Action Revolvers. I like the single action trigger.

My dad, when he was living carried a LCP, as well as both of my brothers still carry a LCP. I am the black sheep.

If the OP was squared up on the targets depicted above, the Blazer is keyholing badly and the load with the Magtech bullets is doing it a little bit. The Critical Defense, which is the important one, looks straight on.

Nice shooting and enjoyed the video. Did they ever get past the intermittent magazine seating problem? I remember the mod (including the Ruger I had) which required sanding the magazine finger extension. And I recall (I think) a mod to enable slide lock-back after final round. Do factory LCPs lock back now?

The LCP will always have a place in my pocket, when I want to CC my G23 l still carry the small gun forgoing the extra G23 mag.

I’m going to pick up an LCPII so after 8 years of constant carry my early model will become a backup.
