2400 and Universal (Universal is like Unique, except it meters well and burns clean :D )

If you want more economy, add No.2 or American Select for 9mm, .38SPL, .45ACP

I posted earlier today (or yesterday) about using Unique and TiteGroup. Just tonight, i went to the range with new recipe loads for 40SW, 45ACP and 357. In the 45 and 357, the 2 different Unique recipes I was trying both blew away the 2 TG's recipes i was trying. the 40SW is the only one I was using Plated bullets (the other 2 were both XTPs), and for the 40, I only tried 1 recipes for each powder and they were VERY close. At this point, i am going to 100% endourse Unique as a must have powder. Makes me wonder if TG is better suited for 9mm or lighter only loads.

I use Unique for .357, .45acp and .44 magnum and have, ever since I started reloading about 6 years ago.

Just got the new Lyman Handgun Reloading Manual. It's a great resource.

There seems to be a common theme here. Unique......it isn't the cleanest, most powerful, newest, or most expensive. But it sure has a wide variety uses and works very well in most of them.

Based on almost every post in this thread I think we can all agree that jetsfan-24 needs one of these......(I recommend the big jug!)
