I just got this pistol! 100 rounds and worked perfectly, BUT and i admit i have never used a laser sight, i was consistent at 7 o'clock and laser seemed to be 'off' QUESTION, can the laser be 'sighted in" if so, HOW. and next question is it advisable to have the trigger worked on by a gunsmith? Is it possible to have the firearm lock back after the clip is empty?

thanks for your input

Yes you can adjust the laser. A small allen wrench fits it.

The horizontal adjustment is on the right side right under the word "Trace" in Crimson Trace. The vertical adjustment is on the underside even with the horizontal adjustment. If you give CT a call they will probably send you a manual and/or an allen wrench for the laser.

I know nothing about the trigger.

Right behind the serial number, on the left side of the gun there is a slide release. If you pull the slide back and push up on the slide release it should lock the slide back, pushing it down will release the slide and if there is a loaded mag in the gun it will chamber a round.

Slide Lock

Like DeepSouth said, you can lock the slide manually. But the LCP slides aren't supposed to lock back after the last round is fired.

You should sight in the laser. I'd check the box carefully and see if there is not an allen wrench in there. They sometimes slip under the foam packing. Put a stick up target or one inch piece of tape on the wall. Go back the distance you want to zero 21 feet would be my choice, look through the sights at the target, move the laser dot to the target, relax your arm, bring the gun up, sight on the target, turn on the lazer, the dot should be on the target. Confirm it when you go shooting but your there if the sights are.
