I've been hitting my local Academy on Mondays since its one of the days they get an ammo delivery. Apparently they also get firearms delivered since they had 2 Maverick 88 Security models with 20"barrels sitting in the racks!
I've been meaning to get one for awhile now, but there have been other priorities. Plus, Maverick 88's are everywhere, at least before the Apocalypse started! I haven't seen one since all the covid craziness started, so I grabbed myself the FDE stocked model!
Makes me wish I grabbed some of the buck shot they had for sale a couple of weeks ago, but I've got some old ammo left over from when I sold my precious 12 gauge back in 2004.
