Accidentaly bought a gun on gunbroker with the "make offer" feature, so I gave it a makeover.

I used Birchwood Casey Super Blue and 0000 steel wool.

I used the same product on a neglected Ithaca 12 gauge Model 37 barrel with excellent results.

Looks great now! Did the same with a 410 from local shop- not the tightest in the stable but functional!

after a lot of sanding wood, rubbing oil into wood, and knocking rust off the barrel with a touch of cold blue I got this.
