I am wondering if any of you guys have ever compared your groups from one position to another.

If you can shoot a .5 inch group from sand bags and a good rest, what is your groups of off a bi-pod or prone???

If you have ever gone as far as sitting, kneeling and standing.

This came from me shooting my Win .223 coyote yesterday off of a bi-pod.
I only managed to get 2"-3" groups at 100 yards. There was some wind and my shots were in a string left to right. This was also the way my crosshairs were moving when trying to squieeze off the shots.

Thanks much,
Tony

Groups at 200 yards with my DCM-spec AR-15 are about the same prone or from a sandbagged rest, around 2" (+/- a little depending on hunger, light, alertness, etc.). Sitting (rapid) is about 5-6" at the same range, give or a take a little more and discounting called fliers. Off hand at 200 is about 9" or a little more, when I am solidly in position and the wind is calm. Still working on the fliers and getting that offhand position down to the 7" of the 10 ring on the SR(-2?) target.

HTH,
~Nathan
