I have had the pleasure of trying out the new ogive on the ACME 45ACP coated bullets. Their new ogive made a world of improvement over the old one. I'm very happy to report that they are a success. I noticed they have a new shape on their 9mm also but I haven't tried them yet.

I do like ACME coated we should see if we can a moderator get us a discount code for the high road ?
I know some other reloading sites have a 10% off code for them , maybe we can get one too ?

I really like their new 124gr 9mm profile, can load them much longer than most other coated lead in my short throated CZ's. They are very consistent and accurate out of my guns too. With the 10% discount I can get 6,000 to my door for .06/ea, about the cheapest quality bullet I have found.

could I get discount code for ACME Bullets to?

Can the MOD's here set a code up for The High Road like we have for RMR and Missouri bullets ?
ACME offers 10% a great discount , I know ACME has some website codes for 10% example Brian Enos's Forums have their own discount code , The High Road is a large forum and I would think we
could have a "THR10" type code as well ?

I you don't mind me asking what OAL are you loading them ?
I am using up my last of their old profile and will be ordering some more soon , I have used them in my 9mm and 44 mag with good results , cool wooded box they come in too

I load them for my shortest throated CZ, which is a P-10C, to 1.095. My P-09 will take them out to 1.12 or right around there. Compare this with their old style that I had to load to 1.05.

The problem with a posted code is that THR is publicly visible and thus anyone can see the code simply by visiting the site. Most of the companies that offer codes to us do not want the code in the open. If they do they often require a member's screen name, but this isn't universal.

I didn't know they had a code at all. Would have been handy. I tried some of their coated bullets.

I found that the .40 cal 180 Gr Round Flat Point had to seat too deep in the case for my sons fourty and didn't like to feed (I see they have changed the shape now). Shot well when it did feed. The .45 Cal 175 Gr (Don't know why I picked that one to try, I like 200 Gr) shot great in .45 ACP. The .38 Spl DEWC and 158 Gr SWC (No lube groove versions) shot very well, but not well enough to switch from what I am using. I can't remember how the 9MM did, or even which one I tried, or if I even tried it yet. I have some .458 (.45-70) 405 Gr coated bullets to try in .458 Win Mag. Have not yet done so.

Bottom line is they have a good product and they are worth trying.

Just for my info., what do you mean by "new ogive"? I just looked on their sit and just saw round nose, flat point and semi-wadcutter bullets in 45 ACP...

I've flogged their older 124RN and it shoots great. You can push them hard with a medium-speed powder like CFE Pistol or BE86 and they are accurate.

Their previous 9mm 124RN had a really blunt nose that required an unusually short 1.03" OAL to chamber in a barrel with no leade. It sounds like they've gone a more pointed design that creates more clearance to the start of the barrel so you can seat the bullet out further and produce a more typical seating depth. It sounds like they've done something similar with the 45.
