Looking at starting to build a 223 AI bolt gun. Mostly in the window shopping phase at this point, but not averse to buying something if I can get a decent deal.
I want to build this gun from scratch and need a little direction on what action I should be considering. I do want a standard target action, as I have no issues single feeding this gun, so no mag feeding needed or wanted. Right hand feed is fine. Any thoughts?
I did look at a Savage target action, but I would prefer a 700 footprint as stocks, triggers, etc are easier to source.
