Acura TL bullet commercial....

Just saw this commercial on tv about the new Acura TL which starts with a bullet in slow-mo then traveling down a bottle bursting out the other end. Very cool

I saw that the other day, pretty cool it's talking about precision and isn't negative about guns (even though the home country of Acura doesn't allow them basically). I wonder if it was done with a high speed camera or with CGI. Good shot if it was actually done!

That's some cool shooting. I've seen their ads in the past and they definitely put a lot of effort into their ads. It's nice that they are gun friendly too.

Acura = Honda = "What if we could replace something harmful, with water" commercial where they say guns are 'harmful' and are replaced with squirt guns. I took that commercial as very anti-gun.

By that token, they should have replaced the cars with Power Wheels since automobile accidents kill thousands every year.

I saw the squirt gun commerical too and almost spontaneously combusted...this one was very cool however, I enjoyed it. I wonder how many lay people will know its a bullet without the casing on it

Sounds like an add for shot placement to me. Good for them for making a public service add.

Just because they use the idea of a flying bullet in their ad does not make them gun-friendly.

Same goes when they use the squirt gun ad... does not make them anti-gun.
