I don't know about you but to only fire one shot is taking a lot for granted. It means you Have to hit the BG the first shot and in a vital spot. If you don't you have a empty gun until you rack the slide.

Does this make any sense to you?

If one is not justified in killing someone, one should not be pointing guns at them and pulling the trigger, regardless of what (if anything) the gun is loaded with.

I generally don't take Delta Force catalogs too seriously. Anybody who wants $60.00 for an "original military" FAL magazine is nuts.

If it was not for the legal angle I would love to have less lethal as option in long arm. Say for home defense a bean bag/rubber bullet for shotgun would be nice option. In pump I can cycle out first rd quickly and easily. BUT due to legal problems I don't bother with that option. If person is a threat I will shoot to stop without second guessing by court weither I forgot the second rd was lethal or I fired the first without a threat and stopped the POS who was meaning no harm. You KNOW his story will be that YOU attacked HIM. For no good reason.
Last but not least even if they come up with a perfect "stun" weapon will you really want to face someone who wants to kill you and KNOWS you can only stun him? BIG disadvantage.

Less lethal is a valid option for law enforcement. Like Tamara says, don't point a gun unless you have the right to kill 'em. I don't advocate half measures since less lethal can get the user killed (LE generally require a cover officer who is armed with deadly force in case the "less lethal" fails to deter the subject).

Just sounds like a company that has a large stock of a product and are looking for a way to sell it. If they can make you think you "must have" it, then you'll buy it. Nothing more.

I agree with Tamara on this one too. If it is for home/personal defense then less lethat shouldn't be an option. Less lethat is used by LEO's more for crowd control IIRC than for self defense. A taser can't be counted on to stop a BG from pulling the trigger of his gun, nor can a bean bag or other less lethal round/weapon.

For home defense, what I want is the MOST lethal round. Tamara has it right. Don't point unless you aim to shoot, don't shoot unless you aim to kill. Dead perps tell no lies.

Biggest problem with "less lethal" is forgetting which you have loaded. More than one cop has perferated a perp instead of bouncing a bean-bag as intended.
