Im looking for suggestions on good quality, heavy duty, adjustable, click belt for my pants when carrying. Belts that do not have holes in the belt but rather are fully adjustable.
Or good quality locking buckle.
I prefer dark brown or black.
Thanks

This looks like what Im looking for but at this price it might not be dependable ?
Maybe they dont offer what Im looking for but I want something similar in the picture but I want the belt and buckle to be more heavy duty if possible.
Thanks

It' expensive, but I bought a Klik Belt a month ago to see if I liked it. As an everyday belt, it's overpriced, but as a carry belt it's pretty darned nice. I bought a 2 ply one, and I like it a lot better than my leather belts gun belts. The nylon is thinner, more comfortable and much easier to get holster clips on, yet much more rigid. I'm actually wearing it right now at work even though I'm not carrying.

I know that's the style you want, but that won't work as a gun belt.

The Ares Gear Aegis Enhanced belt may be more what you're looking for

Or the regular Aegis Belt

Thanks for the great replies.
Im not sure I want to spend that much on a belt.
I thought someone would have some kind of police or military style adjustable belt at a lower price.
I dont like to complain or sound ungrateful but I guess you get what you pay for sometimes.
Those 60 to 100 dollars belts do look nice though.

It's not what you described you're looking for, but lot of folks use The Wilderness Tactical Instructor or Frequent Flyer belts.

For carrying a gun, get at least the 5-stitch option.

This interests me more because of one of the options width up to 1-3/4"
I currently wear a 2" wide double holed leather belt and cant find many 2" wide click belts but 1-3/4" should suffice.
Thanks

What holster are you using that fits in a 2" belt? Can you fit a 2" belt through your belt loops? Can I assume this isn't a concealment holster? Perhaps I was sending you down the wrong path.

I like Wilderness belts. On the lighter side, Bison Designs has some good options. Some of which are surprisingly stiff.

Regarding my post above asking about your 2" belt. I'm beginning to put two and two together a bit based on your other thread here...

https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/inside-the-pants-holster-lh-for-lcr-38.826115/

Are you new to carrying, and haven't used a holster mounted on the belt before (noting your comment about the Remora in the other thread)?

As a precautionary note in your belt search, the default belt loop size for most holsters is 1.5". A 1.75" belt will limit your holster options and a 2" belt will make it extremely difficult, if not impossible, for you to find a concealment holster to fit on 2" belt.

I used the wilderness belts for a long time but switched to the uncle mikes a decade or so ago just because they are about half price and slightly stiffer.

You are exactly right and I was wrong when I assumed my belt was 2" wide.
I apologize for the confusion.
On the bright side I now know that they have several belts that are just as wide as my 1-1/2" belt and some a little wider.
As a side note I appendix carry (LH side), and Ive been hunting since I was a child but Im new with this concealed carry but I must say that Im starting to like it and feel more comfortable with it.

Thanks for all the great help, advice, and links.
I have plenty of options to chose from.

The 1.5" belt will give you good performance, and the greatest flexibility for belt and holster options. More gun belts are available in that width and more holsters are available for that width also.

Let me recommend the 1.5" Wilderness Instructor Frequent Flyer 5-stitch belt.

There may be better belts, and there may be less expensive belts, but The Wilderness Instructor belt is the industry standard, and from a quality American made company with solid customer service. Make sure you follow their sizing instructions. They may seem odd, but they work and if you follow them correctly, your belt will fit perfectly.
