Nope, you're not alone. You got a shotgun in bed with you. :neener:

My shotgun is kept handy, but not in bed. I prefer something a little softer and warmer.

Hmm... When I clicked the link, this showed up:

Then I noticed the shotgun in bed on a a window below the popup. I'd rather have what was in the first image.

Oh, how do I put this without offending Art's Granmaw? :scrutiny:

Dude, that's a little Freudian don't ya think?

no you are not alone, my browning hi power keeps me company under the pillow in a holster

good man

I've always liked blue. Blue and wood go togethor. I prefer pump action. Does this have anything to do with guns? :D

That's plenty of shotgun for HD, I'd say. I like 870s too, my companion right now is a retired 870P that is pretty much a polished blue/walnut furniture version of what you have there.

But do keep in mind, the 'advanced defense' (bedside or elsewhere) resides between your ears and in your muscle memory- the scattergun is just a tool with which to execute it. Training and practice make for effective execution (no pun intended).

I'm with Indy7373, I have a CZ75B compact in a nylon holster, in a drawer by the bed.

I'm going to cross my fingers that it's instead soon going to be a lovely blued 6" S&W police turn in that I had my eye on sunday, if it's still at the shop wednesday when i get paid :)

Dude I feel bad for anyone on dialup, that picture was huge.
I didn't see the chick when I opened it up...just the shotgun in 2160x1440 resolution
:banghead:

My Winchester 1300 12 gauge sleeps under my side of the bed. I don't think my wife would allow the object of the other picture in our bed. If I tried that, she'd probably use my 1300 on me. She's such a party pooper.

45 on my side of the bed 45 on oldladys side of the be one or another make or model... Sometimes a 9mm on my side if thats what im carrying and its nap time :)

I'm with jefnvk-I prefer something that will require a modicum of AWAKE intelligence to bring into play.

Punch lock safe opens in ~3 seconds, but I can't do it while asleep.

I agree with Lee, the ultimate weapon is between your ears, the gun, sword or whatever else you choose is only as effective as you are with it, I need to train for more "scenarios" :)

You would truly be amazed who's sleeping with guns nearby and at the ready. It's a normal thing to do, especially considering the current condition of world we live in today. An attack can come from anywhere at any time, but criminals think that when you sleep, you offer the least amount of physical resistance. They couldn't be further from the truth. When you're away from home is the least amount of resistance.

My Remington 870 is placed in a pull out wooden drawer I installed under the bed on my side. It opens approximately 6" wide - just enough for a couple guns. The safety is off but I will not chamber a round until some action arrives, which I hope never does.
