Hello

I have a glock 19 and I'm thinking to buy an aftermarket barrel so I can shoot lead. What you think guys, who makes a reliable aftermarket barrel for glock. Thanks in advance for your helpo

+1 on Lonewolf. They're well priced and they work the same as factory. They don't have poly rifling so if you reload and get into casting lead you'll have no problem shooting them out of these barrels.

Buy the lone wolf barrel like everyone else said but make sure to keep your glock barrel and don't sell it to someone.

When/if you decide to sell your Glock you can sell the lone wolf barrel separately and recover some cost.

I'm by no means an expert, but I'd just as soon shoot lead from my factory barrel as my LW one, in 9mm. Accuracy is just as good, and it cleans faster. A swipe or two with a chore boy, and it's gleaming. The 9mm barrel is the strongest one; a little bit of fouling won't get you into trouble if you clean it regularly. I.e., don't shoot 500 consecutive rounds of lead without cleaning, then start shooting +P jacketed rounds without at least looking down the bore. If you're the type that cleans your guns after every range session, you might want to give the factory barrel a try.

I played with my LW 40-9 conversion barrel a few times, when it was my only 9mm. Then I got a G19, so I put it away and forgot about it. Then I started shooting lead, so I pulled it out, again. Then I started shooting lead out of my factory Glock. Now, it's back in storage. Likely for good. But it's a good barrel at a good price. I can't imagine why anyone would pay significantly more for the other brands. LWD is a great place to buy all your other parts and accessories, while you're at it. The selection, speed of delivery, and customer service are excellent.
