AIM has Radway Nato spec ss109 Brit Surplus

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just though a few might want to know as I just ordered some myself, late 80's production ss109 made in UK ammo 1000 rounds $149.95. 150 round bandoleers on 10 rd stripper clips $29.95. Boxer primed reloadable

I had some of this a few years back and it was good stuff.

It's my understanding that it's downloaded for their SA-80. Some people apparently had functioning issues in AR-15s with it, some haven't. I'm kinda wondering what the fragmentation range of it is though if it is downloaded for that crappy brit rifle.

if it's got the NATO STANAG and interoperability markings on it then it will conform to the usual specs.
The brass in this stuff is rather thick and hard (much more so than US military equivalent) and when reforming it into 9mm blanks I've had as many as 40% crack on crimping.

My understanding is that is NATO spec SS-109, I bought some 5 years ago and it functioned fine in my bushmaster.

Easy there, I don't have experience with it, just saying what I have heard from others and is on www.ammo-oracle.com . The SA-80 does not handle the same pressures as the AR-15 without functioning troubles, and needs a lighter loading apparently. I did not say ALL people reported troubles, just SOME.

Does anyone know for certain one way or the other.

I would buy some if it was NATO spec.
