AIWB holster makers?

It depends on how you want the holster to ride in the appendix position. If you want it vertical, there are many options, such as those from High Noon and many other manufacturers.

If you want a cross draw cant, Andrews Custom Leather makes a cross draw version of their MacDaniel II holster. In addition, the regular MacDaniel II can be adjusted for cant and could probably be used AIWB.

I believe the big names in kydex, such as Comp-Tac, Blade-Teck, Raven Concealment also make appendix IWB holsters.

I'm sure there are more out there.

AIWB means Ayoob inside the waist band.

I suppose that is why I wrote out "appendix" just to make sure that was the acronym you were using, which is typically what folks mean when typing AIWB (appendix inside the waist band).

Do you mean like the Mitch Rosen American Rear Guard (ARG)? I believe at one time this was called the Ayoob Rear Guard.

The link to the MacDaniel II is a similar holster. There are several manufacturers making IWB holsters with a similar single attachment aft of the pistol.

Yes. You are correct that the MacDaniel II is very similar. However, without actually trying one, it seems to me that the wide loop with double attachments to the holster might be better.

Possibly.

Do a THR search for MacDaniel II. Or even open it up to an internet search. I don't own one, but the MacDaniel II is one of the best reviewed holsters available.

One of the advantages of the MacDaniel II is the ability to change the cant, and still be able to lock the cant in a specific position.
