AK 47 Trajectories

This was one of my better years regarding xmas presents.

I got a Romanian WASR10 AK47

I never knew how much i would love one of these things until i took it to the range. So much fun to shoot cheap ammo.

I have my zero set for 50 yards. I need to pull the chronograph out see exactly how fast it is shooting the wolf 123gr FMJ's but...

My program shows the following.

So much fun not worrying about where the steel cases are flying.

Off hand i can't shoot inside of 6 inch circle anyway. I could care less about MOA accuracy anyway.

From an AR nutcase to another, i would highly recommend one of these fine machines if you don't have one already.

Just good ole fashion iron sight, cheap ammo and reliable fun.

I have shot my AK and SKS at far ranges. Both rifles are pretty accurate until about 200 yards. After that the bullet falls rapidly off the edge of the earth. It is not a long range cartridge......chris3
