There are plenty of reasons not to buy anything ORF makes on the various AK/FAL/Galil forums - most of them provided by the owner himself.

Interesting -- I didn't know they had a bad reputation in AK circles (but I also don't hang out on any AK/FAL/Galil forums).

They did a limited run of Bulgy-based 74s for us over on Arfcom a few years back and I have been very pleased with mine in every way, but that's the only example of their work I've ever owned or shot so it may not be indicative at all...

Have you gone to jgsales.com? They have a good selection of 74's and I believe they have an all black one that just came in stock.

Our shipment of the 5.45 x 39 Saiga rifles will be at our warehouse on Monday , we will ship a bunch off to Red Jacket for conversion hope to see those in 3 -4 weeks. We just got in some of the Arsenal Legion 74 rifles pretty nice but pricey.
