Hm...
That's because they want to portray 2nd Amendment supporters as inbred rednecks with a thirst for blood and guts!
When I joined the local Rod & Gun club, they did make noises about my Town Car and lack of camo clothing.
I told 'em that the Lincoln was a "stealth" AWD version, and Muggles would see my white shirt and tie as "Desert Storm" gear.
One of the guys put his ramrod down (why the heck clean a 2" .38 with a 3' rod, I don't know) and seemed to think about it for a bit, but by the time he took another swig of brew sensibility had passed and they put the torches away.
If they ever figure out what a Muggle is, I'm in deep trouble.
OTOH, the wife has
almost agreed to the Navigator (minimally acceptable) or the F150 (better). I wonder if I can get dual rear wheels cheap?
Seriously, I'm one of the guys in a suit, or at least not in camo. Fortunately, I write a lot better than I speak, so I don't care if I'm interviewed or not, but we really do need to stop coming across like bikers. Not to hijack the thread, but some thoughts, guys?
(The club meeting the other night had more pickup trucks than the local Ford dealer.... Must be something to that.)
