story on gun owners and companies vs employees with guns etc.
Coming on the SeeBS news next.

Unbelievable....

The segment showed some bias, but was generally neutral. A bit more coverage of the reasons why not to post the parking lot might have been nice, and the pro-2A guys seemed to be in more camo than I like, but compared to the obvious bias we've seen on CBS in the past....

(It really feels like the worst of the networks are trying to get to "us" the same way the poodle faked those hunting sessions. Sounds too like some of the blue politicos - like Hillary - are thinking the same way. Keep your eyes open guys.)

At least nobody tried to say that the guns would jump out of the glovebox and shoot people walking by.

My assault BUG hasn't figured out how to get out of it's rug yet. Maybe there's hope for it?

"and the pro-2A guys seemed to be in more camo than I like"

I've seen reporters pass twenty guys in business suits, to interview the guy in camo. I think they've got some kind of rule in their style book, that requires that pro 2nd amendment views have to be related by somebody in camo.

I actually kinda got the big business beating up on poor, lawabiding, middle America feeling from the segment. Surprisingly not anti-gun from CBS. Maybe they're figuring out what all them red states were voting for.

I gave away my long-unused television a year and a half ago. I haven't missed it for even a seventeenth of a nanosecond.
Explains your post count...

Dan Rather is the man who made me happiest of all this past election season

It was so good to see that lying psycopathic mental runt get burned by his own BS that I have damn near choked on my own grin.

It was pretty well balanced considering the source.

I love the part in the diner where he asked how many people carry or own a gun, and almost everyone raised their hand.

I am slowly working my way towards the same goal.

Problem is; it helps me fall asleep... :)

Yep. At a rally for concealed carry last year at the capitol in Madison, the TV folks waited for the crowd to disperse. They walked right past Hunter Rose and me, both of us dressed in suits, to talk to Tony. Tony is knowledgeable on the subject--maybe not as much as Hunter or me--but Tony looks every bit the hard-core biker.

That's because they want to portray 2nd Amendment supporters as inbred rednecks with a thirst for blood and guts!

Hm...

When I joined the local Rod & Gun club, they did make noises about my Town Car and lack of camo clothing.

I told 'em that the Lincoln was a "stealth" AWD version, and Muggles would see my white shirt and tie as "Desert Storm" gear. :D

One of the guys put his ramrod down (why the heck clean a 2" .38 with a 3' rod, I don't know) and seemed to think about it for a bit, but by the time he took another swig of brew sensibility had passed and they put the torches away.

If they ever figure out what a Muggle is, I'm in deep trouble.

OTOH, the wife has almost agreed to the Navigator (minimally acceptable) or the F150 (better). I wonder if I can get dual rear wheels cheap?

Seriously, I'm one of the guys in a suit, or at least not in camo. Fortunately, I write a lot better than I speak, so I don't care if I'm interviewed or not, but we really do need to stop coming across like bikers. Not to hijack the thread, but some thoughts, guys?

(The club meeting the other night had more pickup trucks than the local Ford dealer.... Must be something to that.)
