I tried out my Alien Gear 3.0 IWB holster yesterday. It was quite comfortable right out of the package. I have never carried IWB before. I had done some research on Alien Gear and found most of the info from customers to be positive. And at under $45 it was worth a try. This is a comfortable holster and appears to be well made.

I have the 2.0 and like it. Do you have any experience that you could compare the 3 to the 2?

I just got the standard version (1.0?) in the mail today for my Bersa Thunder.

When that gun gets back from the warranty repair center (it broked) I will try it. Right now though I like what I see. The leather backing is quite soft and the holster seems well made.

The holster is quite comfortable. Having never carried IWB before I was pleasantly surprised. I think you will be very happy with the Alien Gear holster.

My Alien Gear 2.0 holster is both the least expensive and most comfortable hybrid IWB I own. I am in the process of replacing all of my other holsters with them.

The 3.0 has a spring steel inner core which should have more longevity than the plastic stiffener in the 2.0.

I find that the 2.0 was more comfortable than the leather backed "1.0" initially, but after the leather broke in I find the 1.0 much more comfortable than the 2.0.

I haven't tried the 3.0 yet, but I have no reason not to believe the same would be true.

I got both the 2.0 and the 3.0 when I ordered the combo.

I wish I ordered two 3.0's. The 2.0 is a quality holster, however the metal core and the neoprene backing of the 3.0 makes it by far my favorite holster I've ever worn.

I use the 2.0 for my PPK and the 3.0 for my Shield.

Needless to say, I don't carry my PPK much anymore.
