All-copper bullets in .30-40 Krag

Would the long-for-weight nature of all-copper bullets make them suitable for use in the .30-40 Krag, given the typically long throat? The only .30-40 load data I've been able to find for copper is Nosler E-Tip 150 gr, but I haven't looked that hard yet.

I believe they are harder on barrels, but will they work probably.
