Altor ! Cheapest 9mm Productions gun

$80 more … 🤣🤣

Actually a extremely good pistol !!
I don't know about extremely good. More like barely acceptable. With a $90 zip gun I don't have expectations like accuracy, not blowing up, breaking, reliable feeding and extracting, ect.
Not for this old boy! I’d spend thirty bucks more and get a Heritage. At least you’d have six rounds of 22WMR rather than one and done.
I got one used with both 22lr and 22wmr cylinders for $200.
I look at those and see the WWII 'Liberator', made with modern manufacturing techniques.

Larry
Yes.

That Altor looks like it’s one step above the spoke guns I used to make as a kid.

I probably shouldn’t say anything at all considering I have a Cobra (not a Colt) pistol in the vault. In my defense I didn’t buy it. Belonged to father of my son in law. He passed away and I’m storing it for safe keeping.

I’d appreciate in the future of not making SA quotes on my content .. especially since you don’t have a clue what you are talking about ..with this subject

A $200 pistol being "extremely good" I have doubts, as anyone should. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence or at least an internet video of it appearing working as advertised.
Blocking me for not buying into the idea that a $200 pistol is "extremely good" tells me all I need to know.

I paid $180 .. it usually runs $300 … Do you know the mark up for Glocks ? Sigs ? CZ’s
I paid $280 for a CX P10C is a bad gun ?
Nope .. just not optic cut
I assume you think a more expensive pistol is better ?
I try to block people that I feel are ignorant , stupid or just a ass-0
But .. I think your stupidity is sorta entertaining..
Especially if you think Turkish made pistols are junk … because you think so
But I’m sure you are the expert of all things🤣

I don't know anything about these guns but if an owner say's it works and hit's what he points it at, I tend to believe him. As far as price, how about a new CZ 82 for $180.00 w/extra magazine and holster delivered? yeah, back in the day, bit I'm still shooting it. There's decent firearms out there for less than $300.00.

Well we have a pure expert on every handgun ever produced here on this site … no matter what you know about your personal firearm @N555 will decide if it is any good .. he is the Great Wizard behind the curtain… all knowing .. and definitely all telling 🤣🤣😊

I never said Turkish guns are junk. I have some, I wouldn't try to convince people they're great. A gun that wants to rust in 100% humidity doesn't inspire confidence.
Why are you even trying to compare a $300 new gun to a sub $100 gun?

Making a point.. if you keep your eyes open .. you can add a bit more money and get a more useful firearm… I keep a check on Gun Deals .. a person would be surprised what pops up
😊
Also I watch GBGUNS review…
Basically the FXS-9 is a overbuilt VZ/ XD type pistol that is a incredible shooter and so far runs 100% on everything I fed it.. as alot of Turkish pistol is built to digest volumes of 124 NATO ammunition amm

First range report with a silencer.
Its works, very quiet, accuracy is terrible, bullets clearly tumbling 10yd which is about 30 times the intended distance.
The rifling is there in name only.
Ammo is my abandoned 1st generation 9mm silencer load. 90gr xtp 4.5gr wst.

This reminds me of something I did about 30 years ago when I experimented with making my own barrels and rifling for reasons. Long story short, it worked.

Looks like the old dog still hunts. My rifling experient from 30 years ago still works. It cut groves about 3 thousands deep making the grove diameter about .356 inches.
First test will be can I hit a milk jug from 7yd away and have the bullet fly straight.
It would appear so.
The intact bullet was fired a few days ago at water jugs from 7yd and hit slideways.
The bullet that's flattened out like a nickel was fired from the same now rifled barrel with effective homemade rifling.
Both are 90gr xtp "380 bullets".

Its not 6 grove, about 1:12 twist it's not sammi spec but it works.

If I found one used for around $50 I would buy it and a box of CCI 9mm shot shells. It would make a useful pocket snake gun for hiking.

100gr berry's HP on the left and 90gr xtp on the right. Berry's was fired at 10yd still flying straight when it hit.
Yeah I'm loading up some altor ammo with berry's HP and nitro100nf.

CZ P10C … being I paid $310 NIB .. for this pistol shipped … does this make this CZ a bad gun .. would it be more dependable if I paid $475?
Just wondering… 🤔

Nope - P-10C has been my carry pistol for over 6 years, extremely reliable, and there is now way I'll tell anyone what I actually paid for mine. But it was less than that.
Mark Mark likes doing oddball things with oddball guns, what's the harm in that? Have fun, live life, drive the back roads, try the Mom and Pop roadside eateries, ( BEST food!), check out the tiny hometown museums no one ever sees, and shoot the oddball guns. I'd love a Steyr 1912 someday. AS for the Altor, there was one on the shelf at CAL Ranch some time ago, and it sold fairly quickly. Hopefully someone is having fun with it, or, like I suggested last year, it's a last-ditch defensive tool in a literal toolbox, maybe even with a DeWalt or Milwaukee Tool sticker on it to confuse anyone looking at it.

The next best thing about these Altors is an opportunity to bring back pirate fashion with modern self-defense! 1714742739686.png Would something like a falchion or cutlass pair well with three Altors?

We were discussing lesser expensive 9mm pistols…on this thread ..

Are u the person that decides what can be posted..?
I know you are one of the self proclaimed “ know it alls”
on this site ..
but honestly it’s absolutely none of your business what anyone posts ..
your approval of CZ pistols is so important to me wow …
I will feel so much better I have your seal of approval 🤣
If you don’t like what someone posts shut your eyes ..
🤣
But it seems you are the one that a dollar value has a importance on a pistols performance..
🤣🤣🤣

I like cz. This post isn't about cz or anything like it. So why not go start another post about cz pistols?

I believe the title of the thread is "cheapest production pistol".
For whatever reason you seem compelled to compare guns that are far from the cheapest to the cheapest. Does all your gear suck so bad the altor is the only thing you can flex on?

But I nor anyone said the altor was intended for self defense beyond snakes using snake shotshells.
The only reason I can think of to consider getting more than 1 is if they come out with another caliber like 22lr as I have like four or five 22lr silencers.
Pirate stuff is always cool. I have 2 cap muzzle loading pistols and 2 flint locks, taking them all to the range is always fun, cleaning them all after, not so much. A blackpowder muzzle loader would be superior to an altor for self defense as the pirate gun would pack more punch and could give an assistant a proper beating after it's fired.
