American Tactical Imports AT-94A2

So I was looking to get an MP5 clone and I saw that ATI has an AT-94A2. Now, I hear it's a great rifle EXCEPT for the fact that they installed two bars in the magwell for their proprietary 10rd magazine. Now, my question is, does anyone know how to remove those bars OR what method would be best for doing it? And before anyone starts screaming, yes, I know that if I remove them I have to make the rifle 922r compliant.

Without knowing any better, I'd start in with a dremel tool. Cut then grind.

Are they spot welded in there or are they welded top to bottom?
