I recently acquired several boxes of the old paper shotgun shells, they are are all 16 ga. There's some Federal and some Remington, in a wide variety of shot sizes (including buckshot) I am just wondering if these are "worth anything" as a collectible or not.
I can't know the exact date but along with them I got some boxes that had the "New Plastic Shells" advertisement on the box so I can assume the paper shells were some of the last ones made, even though I have NO idea when that might have been.
So should I shoot'em up, save them for my kids, or are the actually worth enough to sell now?
OH, and if this is in the wrong place I apologise, I didn't see a forum specifically for ammo. Forgive me, I'm still new.
