Just for the record ; I purchased #2 cases of this brand as well as #2 S&B brand #124 RN 9mm , in Jan 2020 for 1/2 this sale price delivered to our residence .

" Sales " dubious at best and more a marketing scam than reality ,IMO . Anyone else with similar experiences ?:(

You purchased 1,000 rounds of 9mm for $135 in 2020?

When I was buying back then the best I saw was $150/1000 and that was only after waiting for a rebate from PMC. Best straight purchase 9mm per 1,000 of 124gr I got was $170 back then (pre-2020), those were the days; at the same time I was able to find Wolf Gold m193 spec for $270/1,000 delivered for a short period of time.

I paid $140.00 & $150.00 per cases delivered in 124 gr, RN 9mm , honestly without looking up receipts can't recall which brand was more $ but believe if was Fiocchi . At that price with bullets powder primer ,one has to question reloading their own . Understand matches and competition would be exceptions but practice fodder ,those prices were impossible to beat . What really floored ME was , NO restriction on # of cases one could purchase .

Then in February - March 2020 one couldn't find squat ,as availability became scarce and prices through the roof began on EVERYTHING firearm related .

Fyi : I made a super purchase in 2018 -19 on PPU 5.56x45mm PPU M193 $189.99 per K . Also .30 Cal. M1 Grand ammo 150 gr. came in at $.30 per round or $ 6.00 a box by case of # 10 boxes . I bought #20 boxes and after receiving them ,tried to purchase more . Ha ha ha FAT chance ,they were history the day after I ordered and have Never appeared again that I'm aware of . Those came via Target Sports ,no less .

That's not a bad price. A year ago they would have been $100 more. A month ago they were probably $30 less but that was the lowest price since early 2020. And those were definitely not $130 a case in 2020

NO they weren't , they were $0.15 per round aka $150.00 per K , DELIVERED TOO OUR HOUSE . That's been MY point everything was available and far less expensive ,now sales are marketing ploys ,rather than inventory reduction .

Ah Federal Black Box 115 gr, were also on sale for $140.00 delivered because I have a case of those also in #250 bulk box X #4 . I just looked around on the floor and remembered they pushed a sale in competition with Fiocchi or S&B .

I maxed out the November 2019 Federal rebates for the black packs. $.125 for 9mm and $.025 for .22 rounds. Yeah, we’re not going to ever see those prices again.

Well…in the past three years the country has weathered; one pandemic, urban riots and nationwide political unrest, twenty or more media-frenzy mass shootings, numerous Fed interest rate hikes, inflation at 25 year highs and two spiraling regional wars…and prices went up a bit on ammo.

Diesel is over $6 a gallon here today. With a 48 gallon tank under the F350, THAT is a regular wallet killer.

Stay safe.

If today’s prices seem high, they will seem like a Really Good Deal during the next “actual” ammo & gun panic.

Why buy extra ammo at today’s prices (?), when you can pay Double if people wait a while.

Either you use “dollar/cost averaging” to steadily accumulate, or you have too little extra.
