I've had a Beretta NEOS for a long, long time, but the short-lived production carbine kits are rare as hens teeth, not many made and not many on the market for anything less than astronomical prices. One did finally show up local for what I considered reasonable ($525 for the carbine kit +4" pistol), so I jumped on it. I had been wanting to put a 4" barrel on my pistol anyway, 6 inchers are a bit ungainly with a can and tend to make bulk pack ammo go supersonic. So I took the 4" barrel leftover from the carbine conversion, threaded it and put it on my pistol, replaced the carbine barrel with the 6" and filed F2.

More noticeable port pop when you get the action that much closer to your face, but not too bad, and no issues with blowback. It's a fun little thing that weighs just 3-1/2 pounds with the can. The kiddos are really diggin' it!

I like it. I didn’t know that they made a carbine kit for the Neos. 22 semiauto pistol-carbine conversions have been a point that I have pretty well avoided due to the ridiculousness of the buckmark carbine. Your Neos is what the buckmark should have been.

I think the only thing I'd want to add on to that is some place to put the off-hand where you wouldn't burn the snot out of yourself
