Since the Beretta White Onyx Playtoy shotgun ( Known as the WOP gun here) found its way to me last December, I've run about 2K rounds through it.

No glitches.

For those coming in late, this has 32" Optima bore barrels, plain wood lengthened to my best LOP, 15" and wears a Green Worm F/O bead. It weighs 8 lbs on the nose. Mission, a full spectrum clays gun good for all the games.

The triggers are a little heavier than the 3.5-4 lbs my 870s have, but they're clean and getting better as they wear in.

All handling "Feel" is subjective, but this is a little quicker than my 870TB did and has a bit more inertia than my other 870s with LC barrels. I do a bit better on crossers these days than I did with my 870s but I'm working more on those and it may just be paying off. Quartering shots are about the same, meaning I hit most of them.

Using my pet 7/8 oz loads, the WOP destroys trap single targets with 17 POC and does a yeoman job back to the 22 yard line. There, the IM choke with 27 POC takes over. Wobble rounds shot Low Gun see typical scores in the low 20s.

Patterning indicates the barrel overlap is nigh perfect and POI is about 70-30.

All in all, a very good shotgun.....
