I prattle on needlessly but every once in a while a thread comes along that's good enough to really dive in to, like the OKC thread on TFL, and the posts really rack up. I figure if I hang around page five of the Top Posters I am doing OK. Not too verbose but still noticeable. :)

Now if I ever learn Sam's technique...

Four days into THR, and the slow climb to 10,000 posts has C.R. Sam way out in front with 101, more than doubling Oleg's toatal of 46. Go Sam, go!

Some of you have way to much time on your hands.

In two years on TFL I don't think I posted at all- just read it everyday.

Now I want to get to "senior member" after which I may retire- unless they come up with, say, "very senior member".;)

Update... Top posters as at 8.58 p.m. on December 30, 2002:

Blackhawk - 359
Preacherman - 282
Schuey2002 - 253
re1973 - 198
Tamara - 194
C.R.Sam - 190
Derek Zeanah - 178
PATH - 167
Steve Smith - 136
Gewehr98 - 129

Considering that those in 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th and 9th places are moderators and administrators who had racked up a large post count before we officially opened for business, the rest of the list must have friction burns on their keyboard fingers by now! :D Personally, I think Blackhawk has made a bet with someone that they owe him a case of the hard stuff if he makes 1,000 posts within his first month of membership...

2 years lurking and 2 years as a member at TFL, I only had 28 post I should make member here by 2009.

Idle speculation, and I'm ashamed of you!

(Nobody would take the bet.... :D )
