If you have a lathe or know someone with a lathe, then they are even cheaper to make. If I had to buy mine, I would own 2 or 3. With an investment of about $2000 in a lathe welder and other tools, I am working on can #14 now. This works out to under $200 per can plus the $200 tax. Spread out over ten years this is next to nothing. I have made them for 17 through 50 caliber so far.
