UDPL 3-gun yesterday... rainy and cool for a while but was pleasant to run around in the shade rather than in the desert heat. For the last couple of stages we got some hail/rain and my guns got a bit wet/muddy... no problems with reliability and I ended up taking second in the Tactical Irons class which is the best I've ever done (mostly because they ended up having to throw out one stage and it's the stage I really sucked on... WOOT! )
anyway I've been really impressed with the handling and accuracy and flat-shooting characteristics of the 16. I got it home and took it apart... most of the water had collected in the front of the stock/rear of the receiver and lower. Wiped it down, re-greased, cleaned the chamber and bore, and put it back together. All I need now is for someone to give me a Geissele trigger for it and we'll be all set.
Ran my SIG P226 and Mossberg 590 also. No problems with either, other than I failed to seat a mag fully in the SIG and that cost me a few seconds.
