I was a small bore shooter in high school and college with my own Anschutz rifle. I haven't used that rifle in years, but I do have the sights and I would like to adapt them to an AR with a Picatinny rail. I have looked. Does anyone know of an adapter for the rear sight?

You need an adapter that will allow a 3/8" dovetail mount to fit on a Picatinny rail or the very similar Weaver base.
B-Square makes one. Brownell's sells it.

This will raise your rear sight quite a bit.

I did build an adapter using a Chinese Picatinny to 11 mm, carefully modifying it with jewler's files, and putting an 8mm Anschutz adapter on it to mount the Anschutz rear sight 1.5" above the rail surface. It works. I was just wondering if someone made a dedicated adapter.
