Just spent a couple uh three hours at the Antiquarian Arms Show here in Las Vegas.

I wanted to go last couple days, but had a Work deadline, so, today, late, was the best I could do.

None the less, "Wow!" as ever, what a splendid Show, just breathtaking, and, endless fine to minty old Guns and accoutremon to oggle over, and, even the occasional less than minty example too of course.

Anyone else go?

Why, I never even thought of bringing a Camera..!

I do not know if they would even let someone do that...but, I guess, one could do it discretely maybe...

I had hoped to talk with Roy Jinks, but, I got there so late in the event, I was not able to find him.

I covered the whole Show, methodically, dedicatedly, looking especially for any S & W 'M&P' 2 Inch, and, also, 2 Inch 'New Departure' or 'Safety Hammerless', and, fairly Eagle-Eye that I would like to think I am, I did not see a one.

Lots of New Departures though, and, quite a few various 'M&P' of various sorts, all tolled.

Lots of 'New Centurys' and 2nd Model Hand Ejectors, variously.

Lots of Colts of all sorts...of course.

Enough Merwin Hulberts for one guy to probably carry under one Arm, if all were wrapped together in a Towel or something.

Some REALLY nice Colt Dragoons ( of all three Models in fact)...and a great many very nice Colt Army and Navy Cap & Ball revolvers.

I will ask Mr. Beinfeld sometime if it is possible or permissible to bring a Camera.

I spent two days going threw it. about 5 hours on sat and 4 on sunday. I do not know if they allow cameras but did not see any being used other than the professionals.

did find a few things that I needed and a few that I could not live without. LOL
Most likely going to have a few more things sent to me when I get home but just could not pull the trigger on them at the time.

I am taking my camera to the shot show but a moderator here said they are going to have a special section just for it but have yet to see it?

This thread is useless without pics!

I wasn't there this year, but in the past they have prohibited cameras.

I know not why...

Same at the SHOT Show, except for those with press badges and perhaps exhibitors.

*sigh*
I'm on the other side of the planet, so pics are the only way I'm going to get to share the love. I can understand the security concerns at a show of high end collectables, it would be easy for a crook to put together a shopping list.
As for SHOT, I've previously been offered a press pass and I could attend as a dealer, but there is the small problem of the Pacific ocean being in the way.

Anyway, I'm glad you guys had fun :)
