I just got an AX 2.0 chassis for a 300WM build-up that I am doing. The chassis came with one 5-rd mag. I would like to have a 10-rd mag as well. The magwell is narrow, and the provided mag is also narrow, a single-stack.
That is weird, because I have a first-model AX chassis for a 308, and it is a wide magwell and a staggered-stack for that model. I thought that the improved AX chassis would also have that wider magwell and that staggered-stack mag config as well. The narrow single-stack mag seems a step backward, not forward.
I have been looking on-line and have found some 5-rd mags just like the one I was provided, and also some 10-rd mags for the old AICS pre-AX chassis which are stagger-stacks. But I can't seem to find some single-stack 10-rd mags for the AX 2.0 chassis.
Help.
