Any Aurora(IL) Sportsman's Club members here?

I am hoping to join this spring. I dont however have a sponsor will this be a problem? Im hoping not and that they would want to get numbers up prior to opening of the waterman site which according to the guys at ar15.com is supposed to be amazing.....

Shouldn't be a problem - they actively encourage new member interest at their instructional shoots. Nice, if you're at all nearby, but pricey.

I've shot trap there a bunch of times. Shooting trap under the lights at night rocks!

Neither me nor my buddy are members but he knows a lot of the regulars.

They are open to the public and are a bunch of nice folks. You should be able to show up shoot and make some new friends pretty easy.

One would think with the new facility being built they would be looking to expand their membership.

Yep, I'm a Member and we're always looking for new members. PM or E-mail me with your info (Phone # etc.) and we can get together to get you in. Even this year if you want. (Dues are pro-rated.)
