That's straight off the hodgdon reloading website right down to the velocity.

Did you work up to that load? are you just considering it?

My comment is that we need more context to make a comment : )
 
I asked for comments thinking maybe someone had used the load & would have something to say. Maybe because of changing test procedures the load now isn't recommended. Or maybe in your opinion it is a poor choice of powders. Or mainly if you just had something to say about the load? Maybe you are better read or the subject than I.

I have shot this 34 grain load. I've also seen the max listed as high a 36 grains & have went to 35.5 myself. We all know load data is all over the place depending on which data you are viewing. I was hoping maybe someone here had experience with the 34 grain load?

Good point. Steve's pages has it all the way up to 38!

Nearly 99% of my shooting with the 30-30 has been with cast bullets so I'm a total greenhorn with jacketed in this cartridge.
