I mostly collect antique stuff, and, with the exception of a S & W.22 pistol dating from the late '20's, I haven't bought anything post 1915 in years, maybe decades. I am in the Salt Lake City area for work the next several weeks. Given my interests, any shops or upcoming shows I should be aware of?

For shops, I generally go to Impact Guns at 285 2100 S, South Salt Lake, UT. No, there is no big reason to go to them over any other; but then there is no reason not to.

If you are looking for handguns, Handgun Haven at 2140 3600 W, West Valley City has a very good selection.

I will likely wander over to the show in Ogden. Hasaf thanks but I am into more vintage items.

The best place I've found for vintage arms is Cabela's in Thanksgiving Point. Thanksgiving Point is roughly a half hour south of Salt Lake City.

By all means, go to Gallenson's in downtown SLC. It has quite a selection of new and used firearms, ammunition, reloading supplies, etc. It's kind of a local landmark.

Gallenson's is a cool shop! Definitely check it out.
