If anyone loves reloading like I do, after you finish unloading your brass you walk around and pick up every piece you can. I find a lot of things I dont need and wish I could trade them for something I could use. Does anyone else do this and be intrested in swapping useless for useful cases. I'll never own a 50ae but I pick them up.

I only pick up stuff I reload for or know someone who reloads for it as I shoot at a club and would just as soon let another member who reloads for it have it. I do trade brass at times though if it was something I got in a deal or something I don't reload for now. Today it makes good sense, especially if you can do it locally to save the shipping or have enough to fill a flat rate box.

Doing a trade soon as I needed some 450BM and the other guy was short on 5.56 bullets, so win for us both which is great.

My interest in trading is a mutual benefit in a time where money is tight. I want uncommon brass like 7.7 and 6.5 x55 and would trade largely in their favor to get something I cant afford.
Midway has PPU 7.7x58 Ariska new unprimed brass for $29/50. I got a few packs a short time ago, good stuff. I know its not a trade-just sayin'.

I do the same, I am not picky when gathering brass. I guess I'm just attracted to shiny objects:D I have a fair amount of 223/556 brass that I'd love to trade for 9mm or 30 carbine.

When I shot at a public outdoor range I’d bring a broom and sweep up my stall and the area around me.
So I’d pick up my brass and some from other folks would get in. Come to think of it, the same thing happens in indoor ranges that I go to.

So what I’ve done is keep the brass I use and the brass friends use. Any other calibers, I’ve given away as I didn’t feel it was worth it to try and sell or trade. Plus others have helped me out, so why not give it to someone local who can use it.

The format I have seen is listing what you have for trade and what your looking for below that. I dont know the rules for the buy and sell area, but I would feel that having 100 posts would make me comfortable to mail you my trade. Obviously there is trust involved and I have had many great interactions with the guys here so not really worried...

7mm RUM and 35 Remmington is the only stuff I am short on. (I'm not super short but could always use more) I have lots of 357/38. I would have to look to see what else I have out in my box of stuff. I might have a few 50 beowolf cases but probably no more then a couple. I will have to check Thursday or so.

I pick up everything that I see. The stuff that I don't load or that is surplus gets traded, sold or given away. The Cast Boolits site has a sister site called "Ammo Brass Traders" where you can list your trades and your needs. Its a small site without a lot of traffic. Check it out!

If it's re loadable I pick it up and it comes home with me. I sort it and store it till I find someone that needs it or I get enough of it to sell or trade off. In fact seems like I spend more time picking up brass then I do shooting now a days.

I pick up every piece of brass that I can and sort them out later. What I need I process and what I don’t I store till I get enough to list for sale. The money I make buys powder or primers.

When I find brass that I don’t reload for I put them on a shooting station for someone who can use them.
