Any experience with Target Sports barrels?

I'm thinking about getting one of these 870 barrels to cut down to 18":

Does anyone have any experience with these barrels? Is there any reason this wouldn't be just as good as cutting down a used Remington factory barrel?

What's that all about???

If it has any bearing of truth, I would not want one if it can't also shoot 2 3/4" shells like a 3" Remington barrel.

I think it means DON'T fire a 3" shell in a 2-3/4" receiver. Not ONLY fire 3" in a 3" receiver.

So should it normally be OK to fire 3" shells in a 3" Remington factory barrel from a standard 2 3/4" receiver? Is it possible this barrel is weaker than a Remington barrel, and they only advise shooting 3" shells if you're using a stronger 3" magnum receiver to support the barrel?

A 3" shell won't feed or eject in a 2 3/4" receiver.

If it would, it would be safe to shoot it in a 3" chambered barrel.
But it won't.

There is no differance in receiver strength.

No. Both the receiver and barrel have to be 3" to use 3" loads safely and in comfort.
