Curious question- Are there any traditional style DA/SA or DAO hammer guns on the market that designed to accept a RDS?

Thanks!

And lots of folks will cut a slide. I had a cut done on a 20 year old gun, very happy with it. Here's some with hammers:

I suspect that in the next 2-3 years just about every manufacturer will ensure that there is an optics ready variant of each of their pistol models. We are very close to it now. I think it’s s good thing... it doesn’t hurt to have the slide cut for a RDS as I have flexibility to forego an RDS or to add one if I desire. It very much reminds me of rifles and threaded barrels. If you wanted to run a can on your rifle 15-20 years ago, you’d need to get it threaded. Now, a lot of rifles, even entry-level rifles, come standard with threaded barrels.

You can also remove rear dovetail sight and purchase a dovetail plate for RDS. I have one for my CZP07 and it works very well with a Burris Fastfire ll

Interesting,, didnt know they could do that with the FP Block raising up... I suppose there is a cut out to allow the clearance but have to wonder how thick the plate is.
