Just thought I'd post a pic of mine before I parted with it. I'm afraid that I've kind of burnt out on shooting for a while.

It sports a VQ CF Barrel and a host of other goodies and shoots fantastic.

Do you have any pics of your 10/22?--Oneshot:D

Grrrrr.....You're asking that question about 3 months to early.

I put a VQ fluted/comped stainless barrel and VQ TG2000 on a 10/22 reciever the other day. Hopefully I'll order the McMillan stock to go on it this month.

So....by the summertime I should be completely done with it and you know I'll be posting pics when it's done. :D

esheato...

Mine is a 10/22 VQ - THM barrel. Kidd trigger group. Hogue Overmould.
Simmon shotgun 2.5x25 scope.

VQ THM barrel w/32hole comp, VQ Extractor, VQ TG2000, VQ barrel scope mount, Weaver 4X4 ring, Weaver Grand Slam 6-24X40, Bell and Carlson Anschutz style stock.

The above combination resulted in:

Now I'm searching for a CZ Ultralux to see what the hubub is about.

My favorite gun that sees the most rounds downrange: 10/22 with a John Norrell full-auto sear and bolt (transferable). I have a Volquartsen THM carbon fiber barrel with the 32-hole comp, basic Hogue overmolded stock an EOtech 551 sight.

Tons of fun.

RUGER 10/22 'RUBBER RIFLE' left side view.
BEC Rubber Armored scope.
Hogue Rubber Overmoulded stock. Choate bbl. heat shield.
Quake Rubber padded sling.
Weaver T-09 base. Butler Creek flip-up lens covers.
Harris bipod. Eagle 10-rd. magazine.
And the reason I switched stocks - VORTEX flash suppressor. Like it really needed one!

In it's plinking form with a TASCO 1.5-4.5x20 scope. Kwik-Site medium rings.
The rifle's intended purpose was to be a 'survival' .22 for the Y2K scare. :D
Someday I might get a heavy bbl. and put it into its wood stock for another version of the same rifle. 10/22's are fun that way.

My ten year-old daughter seems to like her 10/22 dad "cobbled together" for Christmas:

I built the stock from everything I could get my hands on - PVC, auto repair fiberglass, epoxy, etc. I lengthened the bolt handle and mag release a bit for her to operate easier. The barrel is a Butler Creek synthetic/stainless. Her first scope is a Bushnell 4x.

Oh, yeah - the stock also has an adjustable length-of-pull so I can shoot it too...

Can one of you guys do me a favor?

If one of you guys with the modified rifles has the stock barrel laying around somewhere I would appreciate it if you would do me a big favor and take a few measurements of the stock barrel.
I'm thinking of building a rifle and using an aftermarket 10/22 barrel to try to keep the cost down.
I need to know the diameter of the end of the barrel where it fits into the receiver. Would also be helpful to know how long that section is before it widens out to the full sized shank. Overall diameter isn't a big deal, I just need to know about where it fits into the receiver so I can get an idea of what bits/tools I'll need to make the reciever ring.
Still deciding whether to go with .22LR, .22WSM, or .17HMR.

Local store only had butler creek carbon fiber barrels in stock and they were blister packed so I couldn't measure anything :banghead:

Thanks alot

Moparmike, it's more than just floating one's boat.

The proof is in the pudding, as they say:
