I just shot my Taurus 327 and I was very impressed, so were my fellow officers who had never heard of the caliber before, and also enjoyed shooting the little gun.

Ive heard all the cons on this caliber, but Im sold and I would like to know if anyone has heard anything in the wind about more guns offered in what I believe to be a truly amazing caliber.

Im thinking Ruger could make an 8 shot on its gp100 frame, or S&W make and 8 shot K or L frame. Other than making a very good SD gun, I think this caliber would make hunting/hiking weapon. Also dreaming of a pump rifle from Taurus, or a lever action from Marlin. Oh yea Ruger could make up a Blackhawk in this caliber as well

Any insiders out there know of anything in the wind?

Have had a Charter Arms Target Patriot in 327 for about 6 months. AE 100 gr. ammo works very well, I'm working up loads for a 115 gr. cast gas checked bullet(Lyman 311316) sized .313. I'm thinking I'm going to like this revolver and cartridge, but then, my favorite caliber for revolvers is 32. The 327 cartridge doesn't seem to like being down loaded much, but what's the point, if I want down I can shoot 32 Magnum or 32 Long. Accuracy is best with near full power loads, I have used several hundred 100 gr. jacketed and am now starting on the heavier cast, seems good. I've only fired one box of factory ammo(50) as its not readily available and no component cases out yet, I have one box of AE held back, as my first box of cases are showing signs of stress from being loaded over and over. I like the 4" barrel and adjustable sights on my gun, thats why I bought it over all the others.
Fun, Fun, Fun!!!!!!!!!

Smith has a ported 3" J frame out on the market. I haven't heard about anything else coming. It would be nice if Ruger would put something else out, particurally a GP. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be their style with pistol cartridges. Like, why haven't they put their 480 into a Blackhawk? I'm still on the fence about the 327. Love the idea, just can't figure out a need for it as compared to what I have now!

Some have already had Single Sixes converted to this chambering. Just need a new cylinder. If it's that important, that's the route to take right now. I do think a lever gun from Marlin would be neat. I'd like a small framed pump as well but not from Taurus.

seems like an offereing in the LCR would be in order... could even be a 6 or 7 shot with little or no added size to the cylinder...I would probably snag one.

I see there are others in "wish" mode. The S&W is so grossly overpriced I begining to think smith doesnt want to sell a lot of these on purpose.

I agree Ruger is too conservative in bringing out new products, but the cartridge was thier idea it would be nice if they led the way on this.

Il keep wishing

I'd be surprised if you hear about the 327 in a couple of years. Too bad it came out shortly before the recession hit. A lot of shooters probably didn't want to get started with a new gun/ammo when they already had guns that would do everything the 327 will.

+1! I was playing with a S&W 617 at the dealer two days ago that I would absolutely love to have. And it was fairly priced, compared to what I see on the net. Just under $700, before tax and transfer. I'm sorry, but for a .22 revolver? That's crazy. He also had a brand new 6" GP100 for under $500. Wish Ruger would compete in the revolver market just a little more.

The makers are to slow getting new products to market. The S&W 632 is in 327 magnum. It took nearly 14 months from when the gun magazines wrote to when the gun made it to the market, plus you can't find ammo!!!

I like the caliber, and Im finding a lot of fans of 32 caliber guns out there. My co workers were giggling like school girls after shooting my taurus, one commenting on it being exactly what he was looking for to carry when he rides his motorcycle. The ballistics seem pretty impressive, my boss at work thinks it would probably defeat the body armor that we're issued, but he's a 32 fanatic too.

The AE 100gr are a hoot, I carry Speer gold dot 115gr, and practice with any of the 4 calibers that can be shot through the gun.

I did contact Buffalo Bore about making up some 327, I was told not at this time, but he would consider it. Maybe I should finally look into reloading
