Any value to empty 12ga hulls?

I've got a bunch of 12ga hulls that I'll never load, so I'll need to get rid of them at some point. There are different types, Remington, Winchester, Federal. Quite a few Rem. Gun Club, but none of the good AA hulls.

What are good types that would be worth keeping or selling? My wife threatens to toss them all in the trash.

go on the cowboy action sites.they're snapped up over there.Cas city forum is probably more newby friendly,as SASS will require you to be a member before you can sell on there,but it might be worthnit,if you have a lot to sell.they get snapped up over there,dissapearing almost as quick as .38 special brass.

Federal Gold medal, Remington STS and Gun Club, Winchester AA - are usually about the only ones worth anything as far as selling, and then really only if they're once-fired. Others can be reloaded, just usually not the to degree and quality of those mentioned.

Remington's hulls all reload about as well as STS hulls, just not quite as often. I know people who reload the Federals, too, though I haven't done it much.

However, it's usually easy to get the Remingtons, other than STS, for free.

Now if you have 28 Gauge hulls, you can sell those...

Sure wish I could trade them for .410 hulls; those I could use. I gave up trying to find empty .410's and just bought some live rounds.

I'll dig through all my stuff and see what all I have, then list them for sale. I have hundreds and hundreds.

The last time I bought once fired STS hulls I think I paid about $65/1000 from Precision Reloading. The STS hulls are one piece and can be reloaded more times than the newer Winchester or Federal that have a separate base wad.

Most trap and skeet ranges rake them into the dumpster, if that gives you any idea of their worth.

Just looked around on the CAS site, looks like what I have goes for about 2 cents each, probably cost more to ship than they're worth. I put an add there to see if anyone wants them.
