Anybody have experience with Cerakote?

I need some advice from you all:

I recently acquired an older revolver that had some minor external rust and pitting and, because it shoots like a dream, I was thinking of getting it professionally re-finished with Cerakote. Does anybody have any experience with Cerakote...good or bad?

Also, does anybody have any "color" recommendations? Right now, I am leaning towards Graphite Black, which is supposedly harder than wood-pecker lips and with a very non-reflective finish I think would hide any residual metallic imperfections.

Check out the FAQs on my website. Cerakote will not hide anything, you will need to do the work to remove pitting before coating. There is an example of a Mod36 in the FAQs that was blasted then coated without sanding out the pitting to give you an idea.
