Anyone change the turrets on their Leupold VX-R Patrol?

I have a Leupold VX-R Patrol and don’t like how the turrets can be easily bumped and mis-adjusted. I wish the turrets had a push in or pull up feature to adjust so you don’t accidently bump it or change it pulling the rifle out of its case. I want to send it in and get it changed to capped turrets so the scope can’t be accidently adjusted.

No but I think it can be done easily since Leupold sells VX-R’s with capped turrets.

They will but it’s $175.

I changed a turret for a customer on a VX-3 and it was easy. I don’t know if it voided the warranty but doubt it since Leupold sent him the turret.
