Anyone else love the smell of Hoppe's #9

Loved the smell for 50-something years now. Still have one of the old glass bottles, I just refill it from the big plastic one. The smell reminds me of Dad.....

Since I was small, I've always loved the smell of fired shotgun shells. Today they don't have the smell they had in the 1970s, must have changed the powder formula.

I know what you mean! The older paper shells had the good smell to me after being fired...plastic ones, nope.

Estate paper shells have paper base wads. Those fresh fired empties have some of back-in-time good aroma.
